I’m Jeff — a photographer based in Queens, shooting portraits, events, and brand work across New York City.
I came up through street photography, and it’s still what I shoot when nobody’s paying me. Years of it taught me the thing that actually matters on a job: how to be somewhere without changing it. At an event, that means I’m not stopping your party to stage a photo. In a portrait session, it means getting you to forget the camera is there — which is where every good frame comes from.
Most of what I shoot is people in the middle of something. A kid’s first birthday. A couple celebrating their love. A small business whose food tastes a lot better than its photos look.
Why I do this
Street photography got me first — years of walking this city waiting for the half-second where something real happens. Turns out people do the same thing at their own parties and in front of a backdrop. I’m just there to catch it.
How I work
I won’t stop your event to stage a photo or bark poses at you (unless you want me to). I mostly stay out of the way until the moment shows up. Galleries come back in 7-10 days, and you’ll get a straight answer from me any time you ask.
What You get
Full rights on every photo, a gallery you can share and download from for online use, and high quality jpegs offline for print. I always want to make sure I meet my client's expectations, so if something goes wrong, you’ll hear it from me first.
Can't wait to meet you
